We honor God and we welcome everyone.
You have friends here.
You are invited to worship and learn more about Jesus.
OUR VISION
Our vision is: “Promoting conscious REVIVAL through EVANGELISATION, UNITY, DISCIPLESHIP, and the spread of doctrinal teaching!”
We want to see revival in Europe, but we know that only Jesus Christ can bring this revival. Therefore, we make ourselves available to Him as servants.
We also hope that we can be of help to you. We are open to collaboration through
apostolic teaching and the desire to make known the
Word of God to make
disciples of all nations.
OUR HISTORY
THE UNITED PENTECOSTAL CHURCH
Pentecostals, who believe in only one, unified God (Deuteronomy 6:4), can trace their origins to the founding of the New Testament church on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2). At all times there have been people who lived according to the teachings of the apostles and had the same experiences as the Christians of the first church. Today's so-called Pentecostal movement did not arise in recent times but was a continuous existence of the first church, which was created in Jerusalem by the Holy Spirit.
In the 19th century, some Christians were particularly influenced by a Bible school in Topeka, Kansas, under Charles F. Parham (1901) and the Azusa Street Mission in Los Angeles, California (USA), under William J. Seymour (1906). At that time, God gave a revival and many Christians reorganized their lives and began to live for God in a special way and to work in the power of the Holy Spirit. So did Pentecostal preachers such as R. E. McAlister, Frank Ewart, Glenn Cook, and G. T. Haywood, who began baptizing “in the name of Jesus Christ” instead of using the Trinitarian baptismal formula (1914-1915). In 1917, these preachers began to organize, and over the next decade several groups emerged that believed in the unity of God. The United Pentecostal Church International was formed in 1945 through a merger of the two largest Pentecostal churches that believed in the unity of God.
GERMANY
In 1966, the United Pentecostal Church began a ministry in Germany. The community is registered in Germany under the name “Vereinigte Pfingstgemeinde eV” with its headquarters in Fürth and is recognized as a non-profit organization. The service of this community includes church services and events of the local churches, evangelism and church planting, Bible seminars, conferences, work with foreigners, youth camps and local work with youth, women and the elderly, home Bible groups, literature service in German and foreign languages, and tent missions. There are Bible schools for members of local churches as well as for preachers and staff. There's probably a local community not far from you.
CORE VALUES
Trustworthiness
“Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?” (Proverbs 20:6).
“Moreover it is require in stewards, that a man be found faithful” (1 Corinthians 4:2).
Unselfishness
“Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another” (Romans 12:10).
“And whosoever will be chief. among you, let him be your servant: even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:27-28).
LOVE
“And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness” (Colossians 3:14).
“And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing” (1 Corinthians 13:3).
Integrity
“Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully” (Psalm 24:3-4).
“Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men” (Romans 12:17).
Preeminence of the Word of God
“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:48).
“And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone” (Ephesians 2:20).
Submission
“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you” (Hebrews 13:17).
“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God” (Ephesians 5:21).
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
“His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it” (John 2:5).
“WHEN I'M AFRAID,
I PUT MY TRUST IN YOU.”
